About Us

Founded in 2018, CUBPS aims to create an environment that not only educates its members, but also provides them with the support and guidance necessary to formulate and actualize their career goals. CUBPS hopes to combat the stigma that minority students at Columbia University face, promote dialogue relating to pre-professional development and educational access, and work towards creating a more collaborative campus environment. CUBPS programming includes a mentorship program, networking conferences, site visits to companies, weekly office hours, resume workshops, interview preparation, recruiting info sessions, and more. In doing so, CUBPS serves as a chief advocate for the professional and personal development of Black students at Columbia.
